FACT Movement- Spreading the Truth About Tobacco

FACT is WIsconin's youth tobacco preventino program; there are nearly 30 FACT groups at schools and community locations throughout our state. Members are in grades 7-12 and they don't just talk about change. They take action by spreading the truth about tobacco in their communities. Teens lead activism initiatives, peer-to-peer advocacy, media outreach, and meetings with state and local leaders. 

FACT is part of the Wisconsin Tobacco Prevention and Control Program and is managed by the American Lung Association in Wisconsin. Locally, FACT groups are advised by staff or volunteers of Tobacco Preventino Muli-Jurisdictional Coalitions or Ethnic and Poverty Networks.
